Our Resort

Baileys Harbor Yacht Club Resort is a waterfront condominium resort on the quiet side of Door County. All of our units are privately owned and individually decorated. All rooms and suites conform to our highest quality standards, but decor is not standardized. There are 4 different types of rooms: Staterooms, Junior Suites, One Bedroom Suites and Two Bedroom Suites.

In addition to different layouts, we offer several optional features that will ensure that you have a choice. Our staff is eager to help you find the perfect accommodations for your stay and we will do everything possible to get you into the right unit. Our guest rooms and suites offer all of the modern amenities in a peaceful, relaxing setting.  You will always enjoy the views at Baileys Harbor Yacht Club Resort.  There are fantastic views of the harbor, lovely courtyard views overlooking the outdoor pool, and tranquil views of the woods at Toft Point.

 As our guest, you have full access to our indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, sauna, movies, games, bikable roads, and our landscaped grounds overlooking the harbor on Lake Michigan. We offer bike rentals, several outdoor gas grills, and plenty of free parking.

 

Baileys Harbor Lighthouse

Baileys Harbor Yacht Club Resort is just 1.5 miles from the town of Baileys Harbor, along the shore of Lake Michigan.  In that mile and a half you will pass the renowned Ridges Sanctuary, the Baileys Harbor Ridges Park Beach, the old Baileys Harbor “Birdcage” Lighthouse and the Toft Point trail head.

Baileys Harbor Yacht Club Resort is located near two marinas, so you’ll be close to boat slips, marina services, and fishing charters. Get out on the lake for fishing, boating, diving, kayaking, and a sunset cruise. Touring the historic lighthouses of the peninsula by boat is a spectacular day on the water.

Our resort is just minutes from all of the great attractions in Door County, but feels secluded and remote.  On the way in to the resort, lucky visitors may see whitetail deer, wild turkey, porcupine, or the rare red fox. Keep an eye open for the “over 60 species of breeding birds and 12 threatened or endangered species.”

From our location, you have easy access to all of Door County.  There are so many adventures within a fifteen minute drive from the resort, you can have it all! Visit our beaches and state parks, watch a play under the stars, experience traditional Fish Fry or hand-made ice cream, shop for fresh local produce, artisan cheese, and local wines. No matter the season, you can be sure there is a festival somewhere on the peninsula! When you are done exploring, getting back to Baileys Harbor Yacht Club Resort is easy. Sit back and enjoy the sunset over the harbor, take a dip in one of our pools, or stroll down to the marina and count the shooting stars. Maybe, just maybe, you’ll get a glimpse of the Northern Lights.
