New Safety Policies
For the safety of our guests and staff, we have temporarily modified some of our policies.
Thank you for your patience and understanding, and know that as information changes, we might need to adjust. Our goal continues to be keeping you and your family safe and comfortable during your visit. Review and share these new policies with your travel companions prior to arriving and contact us directly if you have any questions or concerns.
Before you arrive:
- MONITOR YOUR HEALTH and if you or your traveling companions develop any of the following symptoms, we urge you to call your healthcare provider and postpone your stay.
- Possible Symptoms Include:
- Cough
- New loss of smell or taste
- Sore throat
- Muscle pain
- Chills
- Fever
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
When you arrive at the resort:
- Even if you have been fully vaccinated, when you enter the resort we ask that you and your travel companions please wear a face mask and keep it on only while in the lobby and hallways.
During your stay:
- If you or anyone in your party becomes unwell during your visit and is concerned that they may have been exposed to COVID 19, please call the local COVID Hotline at the Door County Medical Center 7 days a week between 8AM – 4:30PM at 920-746-3700 or After Hours call 1-877-746-0003
Please let us know if you and anyone of your travel companions have become ill so that our housekeeping staff take extra precautions after you leave.
- Only Very Limited Light Housekeeping services will be available by appointment for extended stays (3 or more nights) and housekeeping staff will not enter your room while it is occupied. Linens and supplies may be replenished as requested, between 9am – 2pm. Please call the front desk for requests, rather than asking in person, and someone will deliver them to your room.
- The pool and fitness areas will be open for your enjoyment. CDC guidelines recommend that we limit the number of people in these areas to allow for social distancing of 6 feet even while in the pool. Please be patient and considerate of others. If this becomes problematic, we may ask guests to reserve their pool time. We will let you know if this has been implemented when you arrive.
Before you depart:
- To help protect our housekeepers, we ask that you please do the following when it is time for you to check out –
- Place any used kitchenware, glassware, and utensils in your dishwasher or into the sink if you do not have a dishwasher.
- Please take the garbage out and place into the outdoor receptacles nearest the entrance to your building.
- Call the front desk and let us know that you are leaving. If you have a remaining balance it will be charged to the credit card on file unless you specify otherwise. To avoid extra charges, remember to bring ALL of the room keys which you signed for back to the front desk when you depart.
After you leave:
- Let us know how we did! We will send you an email survey asking you how you enjoyed your stay and ask you for suggestions for how we can improve.
On behalf of all our owners and employees, thank you for choosing the Baileys Harbor Yacht Club Resort for your stay in Door County. Thank you for helping us make this transition go smoothly. Your understanding and cooperation is appreciated. Nothing is more important to us than your and our employee’s safety.
