Winter in Door County Wisconsin

There is a different sort of electricity during the winter in Door County. The days are shorter and the pace is slower. There is more time to enjoy antipasta, regional wines, and space around the fireplace or game board.

We recommend strapping on a pair of cross country skies and sliding into one of the near by nature reserves. Prepare to be astonished by the silence of a snow covered forest and the number of animal tracks that you will ski across.

Alternatively, jump onto a snowmobile and explore the numerous trails that connect various pubs, restaurants, and parks throughout Door County.
